MADCAT X-ZIBIT Belly Boat – Catfish Rod

MADCAT X-ZIBIT Belly Boat 175 is a specialized catfish rod designed for active catfish fishing from belly boats. Its construction is tailored to fishing from a seated position, where limited space requires excellent maneuverability and precise tackle control. Thanks to its compact 1.75 m length and short handle, the rod allows comfortable lure presentation and easy handling when fighting powerful fish. It is particularly suitable for fishing with artificial lures in situations requiring accurate and controlled presentation. The short design also makes it easier to control large catfish close to the belly boat, which is especially important during sudden runs and demanding fights at short distances.

The rod is built around a reinforced 24T carbon blank, providing substantial power reserves for fighting large and powerful catfish. Its medium-fast action ensures effective lure control, quick reactions to bites and reliable cushioning of sudden movements during the fight. The 50–125 g casting weight rating allows anglers to use artificial lures suited to active catfish fishing techniques. The rod features SeaGuide guides, a reinforced Double Stone tip guide and an ergonomic SeaGuide XSS reel seat with a double locking system. Another distinctive feature is the metal attachment eyelet for a safety tether, allowing anglers to secure the rod against accidentally falling into the water. This practical solution is particularly useful when fishing from a belly boat, where maintaining equipment security is essential.

MADCAT X-ZIBIT Belly Boat 175 measures 1.75 m and has a casting weight rating of 50–125 g. The rod weighs 239 g, features a two-piece 1+1 construction and has a transport length of 131 cm. Its short butt section improves maneuverability when fishing from a seated position, while the powerful blank provides the strength required to lift and control large catfish. The combination of compact dimensions, responsive action and reinforced construction makes the rod suitable for demanding fishing conditions. MADCAT X-ZIBIT Belly Boat is designed for catfish anglers looking for compact, durable and powerful equipment for active belly boat fishing, offering comfortable handling, precise lure control and reliable power reserves during challenging fights.
