MADCAT X-ZIBIT Distance Multiplier – Catfish Rod

MADCAT X-ZIBIT Distance Multiplier 300 is a powerful catfish rod designed for targeting large catfish at considerable distances with a multiplier reel. Its robust construction is suited to heavy catfish rigs that demand strength and reliable control during demanding fights. The 3.00 m length helps anglers manage the fishing line and maintain pressure on fish hooked far from the bank. A key feature is its parabolic action, allowing the blank to bend smoothly under load and absorb sudden, powerful runs. This progressive bending behaviour helps maintain consistent pressure on the fish while reducing abrupt strain on the tackle. The rod is particularly suitable for stationary catfish fishing on large rivers and expansive reservoirs, where heavy rigs are often positioned at long distances.

The X-ZIBIT Distance Multiplier features a reinforced 24T carbon blank, combining a strong construction with substantial lifting power. Its carefully balanced flexibility distributes pressure along the rod during demanding fights, helping anglers control powerful catfish without sacrificing the shock absorption provided by the parabolic action. The SeaGuide DBS reel seat provides secure mounting for a heavy-duty multiplier reel, an important advantage when using strong braided lines and substantial catfish rigs. The construction is intended to withstand the high loads associated with long-distance fishing and powerful fish. Together, the reinforced blank, reliable reel attachment and controlled bending action provide a practical combination of strength and fish-fighting performance.

The MADCAT X-ZIBIT Distance Multiplier 300 measures 3.00 m and has a casting weight rating of 200–400 g. The rod weighs 566 g and has a transport length of 155 cm. Its two-piece construction makes transportation and storage more convenient, while retaining the strength required for demanding catfish fishing. Designed specifically for use with multiplier reels, this model is suitable for anglers who prefer this reel configuration when fishing with heavy catfish tackle. The 3.00 m length provides useful reach for managing distant rigs, while the parabolic action supports controlled fights with large fish. With its reinforced 24T carbon blank, SeaGuide DBS reel seat and substantial power reserves, the X-ZIBIT Distance Multiplier offers a dependable setup for long-distance catfish fishing where strength, shock absorption and effective line control are essential.
