The last few inches of the rig or the `presentation` as we like to call it is vital, and without doubt the more finesse in the set up the more bites you will get. We are fed up with large cumbersome rig bits, which ruin the finesse of many of today`s superb hooks and hook link materials.
We only ever put out tackle that we feel gives us a real advantage over what is currently available on the market. Take our Shrink Tube for example. To us it should be as fine as an extension of the hook we are using, not a great mass of bulky biro tube plastic turning a light hook into an awkward hunk of metal in the carps mouth. It`s all about tricking them into moving off with the bait and the less they feel in their mouth the more chance there is of doing this.
Our shrink goes down to 1/3 of its original size making it easy to get on the hook before steaming and most importantly super thin and neat once it is shrunk. It keeps a curve, dare we say, beautifully and turns a fairly effective hook link arrangement into a deadly effective hooking arrangement.
