Shimano Cardiff Slim Swimmer is a slim spoon designed primarily for trout fishing. Its long, narrow body with a distinctive pressed profile delivers a stable, pronounced action during a steady retrieve, while the slow sinking rate makes it well suited to working the upper layers of the water.
Slow fall and stable swimming action
Slim Swimmer maintains a consistent action even at a slow retrieve, moving from side to side in a controlled way. This presentation works particularly well in Area Trout fishing when trout are feeding high in the water and respond better to slowly and steadily retrieved lures.
The balanced slim body also provides good casting performance, allowing anglers to cover a wider area with a small spoon. The series can also be used for light spinning in natural waters, where it may attract trout as well as perch, chub and ide.
Cardiff Slim Swimmer is made in Japan and fitted with a single barbless hook. The range includes different sizes and weights, allowing the spoon to be matched to fishing depth, casting distance and fish activity.
