Wob-Art Ukleja is a series of handcrafted fishing lures from the Polish brand Wob-Art, designed to imitate bleak, a small freshwater fish commonly hunted by predators. Their slender profile, carefully finished details and natural colour patterns make them an interesting choice for fishing in rivers, lakes and reservoirs.
Ukleja lures are particularly suitable for targeting perch and asp, but can also be used for other freshwater predators. Their action allows them to be fished in flowing water, including faster currents, making them useful in both lowland rivers and smaller streams. In stillwaters, they can be retrieved slowly along vegetation and other areas where predatory fish hunt small baitfish.
The series includes two sizes: 5 cm (2.0 in) weighing 4 g and 6.5 cm (2.6 in) weighing 8 g. Both models feature a sinking S SR design. During the retrieve, occasional pauses allow the lure to sink naturally through the water column. This variation in presentation helps anglers explore different depths and target predators holding below the surface.
Despite their compact size, Wob-Art Ukleja lures are carefully weighted to facilitate longer casts, a useful advantage when targeting asp and perch in open water. Each lure is individually handcrafted and hand-painted with attention to detail. With two sizes available, anglers can choose a suitable imitation to match the size of the baitfish and the conditions at their fishing location.
